Please join us at The Little Woods (Clearview and Patricia) every Monday and Thursday evening in June from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, to help with the woodlands restoration. We are removing garlic mustard (a edible but invasive plant) and planting native ground cover and shrubs suitable for a woodland garden. The corner lot is a City property. Restoration will extend to several prominent locations in the NCC woods (Champlain Woods).
Bring gloves, shearers and small shovels if you have them. Contribute as much or as little as you can.
Organized by Catherine Shearer and the Environment Committee.
Lost plain gold wedding band, likely on a bike ride from our neighbourhood down to the bike path.

This is from the city of Ottawa:
Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway – On weekdays, until Friday, June 7, there will be intermittent off-peak lane closures on Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, between 9:30 am and 3 pm. The closures are for tree clearing and will be between Dominion and Cleary avenues.
Scott Street – From Monday, June 3 to Friday June 14, weather-permitting, Scott Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction, during off-peak hours between Churchill Avenue North and Smirle Avenue as part of the Scott Street Sewer and Watermain Rehabilitation Project.
Just a reminder that the garage sale is this weekend, June 1 2019, see https://champlainpark.org/garage-sale/ for details (like rain date, hours, what to do with leftovers).
Board meetings will have an open session for community residents to observe business discussions. Non board community members will also be invited to participate at certain times by the chair and there will be “in camera” topics for the board members only.
