From: Yasir Naqvi, MPP (Constituency Office) <ynaqvi.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org>
Dear Friends,
As many of you may know, the Ottawa Hospital has begun the planning process for the development of a new regional trauma and acute care centre at the former site of the Sir John Carling building to replace the existing Civic Campus, which has been in operation since 1924. Public engagement so far has included a third-party report on engagement, a series of community feedback sessions, and the launch of a website devoted to sharing information and soliciting ideas. I encourage you all to get engaged and share your ideas and priorities for the new campus.
To read a summary of feedback and ideas shared to date, including common themes and highlights, click here.
Please note that the Ottawa Hospital will host a public information session this Wednesday to present an update on hospital services planned for the new campus and the background journey to an architectural design concept.

Hi Champlain Park Community Association,
Thank you for all that you do to make your community a better place. Ecology Ottawa, a local grassroots environmental organization, is planning a busy 2018 and we need your community association’s help.
Below, you will find two requests for action. We hope you can take the time to respond. We look forward to building a better Ottawa with your community’s help.
1. Can you tell us about the top three environmental concerns in your community?
TD Park People Grants
If you’re interested, please apply to the Park People directly and send a note to the Champlain Park Community Association to keep us in the loop and to check for scheduling conflicts.
TD Park People Grants
When our parks come alive, people are happier, communities are more connected and cities thrive. That’s why the TD Park People Grants will provide $2000 to groups from Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal to help make community events like movie nights, harvest festivals and nature walks happen in parks.
