Subject: Scott Street Bus Stop adjustments – Effective December 19 2021
Good afternoon,
Please be advised that OC Transpo has advised of upcoming changes to bus stops along Scott Street. Please feel free to share this information with members of your community.
On December 19th, in line with the Winter Service Change, there will be two stop adjustments on Scott Street.
The first adjustment will be Westboro 3A, which will reopen on the south side of Westboro Station, however, it will be adjusted slightly to the south to Scott Street, to assist in the continued construction of Stage 2. The new platform will be fit-up with all appropriate station amenities (shelters & benches). There will be a new dedicated bus lane opened which will begin just east of Tweedsmuir Avenue traffic signal, continuing through to the Athlone Avenue traffic signal.
The second adjustment that will be occurring on December 19th is the commissioning of a new bus stop on the south side of Scott Street between Winona Avenue and Athlone Avenue (in front of the Granite Curling Club). This stop will be serviced by Route 50 β Tunneyβs Pasture.
