This will be a hybrid meeting, both virtually and in person at the Fieldhouse. Please e-mail champlainpark@gmail.com with subject “Meeting Link” for access to the video conference.

If you want to vote or just show your support for our efforts, please get a membership. Resident Members (live in Champlain Park and joined CPCA) can run for election and vote. Any resident member can run for any position, in advance, or at the AGM. One Member at Large position is reserved for new members.

  5. Proposed Zoning By-law, Draft 1, 2
    1. Ottawa community associations have raised many of the same issues regarding the proposed new ZBL. They are getting virtually identical non-answers, or no answers at all, to the issues that they’ve raised. The Federation of Citizens’ Associations is considering options to address this.
    2. Draft 2 released on March 20 & will be presented to Planning & Housing Committee on March 31. The Public may attend the meeting and comment.
    3. Residents who have questions or comments on Draft 2, may contact the new Zoning By-law project team via NewZoning@ottawa.ca or visit the Engage Ottawa page. Public engagement on Draft 2 will occur this spring, including virtual and in-person consultation events.
    4. The final version of the new Zoning By-law, Draft 3, will be presented later this year for Council approval.
