This is a meeting of the CPCA Board of Directors. Champlain Park Community members are welcome to attend, if you would like to propose items for discussion, to ask questions, to organize an event or activity, or to learn more about the issues affecting our community.

Activities and Issues must fall within our community plan/areas of operation in order to be addressed by the CPCA. You can write to the webmaster champlainpark@gmail.com to request a link to join the meeting and/or to connect you with the appropriate Board member for information and guidance including how to submit a Community Project Proposal.

  2. Interim Motions/Decisions.
  3. Community Members’ Agenda Items.
  4. Engaging Community & Spending Surplus Monies: Kìchì Sìbì Winter Trail possible additional CPCA funding – Kris Phillips (KSWT Board Member, intro Lynne).
  5. “Bright Ideas” background info and brainstorming session for our neighbours about spending money on the park and neighbourhood, new date April 28, what preparations are needed – Joanne.
  6. Funding Request for ODR Tarp: white base for earlier rink freezing, by Paul O’Blenes – Motion Lynne.
  7. CPP for 2 Enviro Projects: Little Woods invasive plant removal, Park shade garden,  from Catherine Shearer, info Shelagh Jane, motions Lynne.
  8. Inquiry from Hampton Iona CA re: board thresholds for financial decisions to bring to membership: discussion, decision – Lynne.
  9. Historical Projects Update: Information update on Bob Grainger book on Champlain Park and Dave Allston talk – Richard
  10. Update on new Park furniture – Joanne (3 mins)
  11. Volunteer Ottawa: (CPCA has a free membership) – Info Lynne.
