Agenda items are limited to 5 minutes unless otherwise requested.

This is a meeting of the CPCA Board of Directors. Champlain Park Community members are welcome to attend, if you would like to propose items for discussion, to ask questions, to organize an event or activity, or to learn more about the issues affecting our community.

Activities and Issues must fall within our community plan/areas of operation in order to be addressed by the CPCA. You can write to the webmaster champlainpark@gmail.com to request a link to join the meeting and/or to connect you with the appropriate Board member for information and guidance including how to submit a Community Project Proposal.

    Cut-through Traffic Problems, Bill Baggs has a few words to say.
  4. AGM Planning: Everyone 30 minutes
    • Finalize agenda – order of guests (Rosaline, Jeff) and reports
    • Assign Time Limits for Presentation, Q&A/discussion
    • Require time keeper as agenda is very full
    • CPCA Board review minutes of last AGM before distributing to members
    • Election Slate and Advertisement; Running the Election
      Everyone is running for their current positions plus Alex and Bill as Members at Large; this is before election call Speaker/Web (Propose to list Task/Role for each Member at Large in brackets)
    • Techie Stuff for Hybrid meeting
    • Confirm who does what: opening the fieldhouse, setting up chairs, etc.
    • Secretary tasks: Collate materials for distribution (Electronic & Paper)
    • Confirming Attendee Membership to Vote and Run for Election
  5. Finance, Membership, Risk Management: Lynne 15 minutes
  6. Planning, Zoning, Environmental Issues: Heather
  7. Park and Fieldhouse Improvement: Joanne 15 minutes
    • Update on Champlain Park new amenities survey
      Timing/Survey logistic options and help (e.g. survey testers)
    • Review proposed survey questions (Joanne/Sarah will circulate ahead of time)
    • Decide on striking Parks Committee/How to proceed
    • Questions from Finance/Risk Management viewpoint
  8. Update on the Tunney’s Pasture redevelopment transportation planning and CPG Stream 1 meetings Joanne – 10 minutes
  9. Report on a drop-in meeting with Jeff Leiper about putting a stop sign on Clearview and Cowley. Richard – 2 minutes
