Grand Opening of Ottawa’s Largest Dog Run at Hampton Park

What: Opening of Ottawa’s largest dog run at Hampton Park

When: Monday, August 25th 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.

Where: Hampton Park, corner of Island Park Drive and Merivale Road

Along with Mayor Jim Watson, I would like to invite you to the opening of the largest dog run in Ottawa – 9,000 square metres. Dogs please bring your owners and make sure they are on their best behaviour. Cyclists and pedestrians are welcome to enjoy the new and improved multi-use pathway connecting Kirkwood Avenue to Island Park Drive. The first 50 to arrive will get a flashing pedestrian light suitable for dogs and humans alike.

Quoi : L’inauguration du plus grand enclos pour chiens d’Ottawa au parc Hampton

Quand : le lundi 25 août de 7 h 30 à 8 h 30

Où : parc Hampton, à l’angle de la promenade Island Park et du chemin Merivale

Le maire Jim Watson et moi-même vous convions à l’inauguration du enclos pour chiens le plus grand d’Ottawa, avec ses 9 000 mètres carrés. Les chiens sont priés d’amener leur maître et de les surveiller. Les cyclistes et les piétons sont invités à utiliser le sentier polyvalent amélioré qui relie l’avenue Kirkwood à la promenade Island Park. Les 50 premiers arrivants recevront une lampe clignotante pour piétons, qui convient tout aussi bien aux chiens qu’aux humains.
