Many thanks for a successful Spring Cleanup!

A message from our Spring Cleanup Coordinators:

A big thank-you to the more than forty of you who turned up yesterday for the Champlain Park Spring Cleanup. By noon at least a dozen garbage bags of trash had been collected, as well as a blue box full of recyclables.

Most memorable trash was Desmond’s giant “sponge toffee” foam–perhaps from underneath a dock upriver?

Thanks also to Kay who brought over some tasty oatmeal cookies.
