Community Project Proposal (CPP)

Terms and Conditions

By accepting support of any kind by the Champlain Park Community Association (CPCA) for a given project activity the proponent accepts the following terms and conditions:

  • All activities will be legal and proper care will be taken in carrying out the project activity
  • Permission will be sought from the property owner and any neighbours (if relevant or necessary) where the project activity will take place
  • The appropriate CPP – Project Activity Disclaimer Form must be completed prior to any volunteer work being started on a project activity that takes place on a owners property
  • Any children will be appropriately supervised by adults or by an assigned guardian
  • For projects activities with higher risk activity that could lead to injuries to persons involved, a fuller description of the activity will be needed and proper mitigation measures will be taken to lessen the risk
  • The proponent or other people involved in the project activity accept that the CPCA will not be held liable for any injuries or damages that may occur due to that project activity
