Queen Elizabeth Drive collision — police looking for witnesses

The Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred this morning on Queen Elizabeth Driveway between Preston Street and Crescent Heights.

At approximately 1:30am, Frontline Patrol responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a white 2013 Hyundai Elantra sedan. The driver was arrested at scene, and the passenger of the vehicle is currently in critical condition with serious injuries. Updates to follow.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed or may have dash cam footage of this collision to call the Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 2481.
