Ecology Ottawa Tree Fundraiser

Check out Ecology Ottawa’s Tree Fundraiser and help plant Ottawa’s future tree canopy! They are working with Ferguson Tree Nursery to offer you an amazing deal on 7 different native tree seedlings. By participating, you will not only be helping to green-up your community, but you will help support the important work of planting, protecting, and promoting trees in Ottawa.

Ecology Ottawa has designed a tree-oriented event that we are very excited about! It’s a fundraiser for our organization, but we are using our connection with Ferguson Forest Center to give Ottawans our discounted rate on local native tree seedlings. Essentially people will fill in an online order form (that will be available from now until the end of August) to purchase native tree saplings in advance and pick them up from Thursday, September 4th to Sunday, September 6th. The trees range from $3-$8 and there is a variety of 7 different species ranging from conifer, deciduous, and fruit and nut-bearing (check out our website here https://trellis.org/tree-fundraiser-2020).
