For the last 2 weeks I have been feeding a possible stray cat and would like to find his owner, if possible.
The cat is not microchipped and does not wear a collar, so it’s not possible to ID his owner. He is a young brown tabby and apparently domesticated. If nobody claims him, I will be obliged to take him to the Ottawa Humane Society for adoption as I already have 2 outdoor cats who are currently quite hostile to him. He is not the slightest bit hostile himself.
If you have lost a cat and think this one may be yours, please contact me with identifying features at 613-729-8021.
If you cannot reach me, please contact Lost and Found at the Ottawa Humane Society, as I have already registered him there as a found cat – 613-725-9998.
BTW, he is not the brown tabby cat who is the subject of some “Lost Cat” notices in our neighbourhood. The owner of that cat has been over to check him out.
Thank you,
Christine Jackson (Cowley Avenue)
Looks like that is old news. Christine says:
I made several different efforts to. So I took him in, got him micro-chipped, vaccinated etc & now he lives with me & my other 2 cats.
