The City of Ottawa invites residents to the launch of the project to develop the new Official Plan. The Official Plan is the strategic document that guides our city’s growth and development, and it will impact how and where the city will grow around us, now and for years to come.

Our long-term goal is for Ottawa to grow into the most liveable mid-sized city in North America, and we need your insight to make this happen. We are collaborating with residents from across the entire city to gather public input on the key issues facing Ottawa today.

Find out how you can help us plan for Ottawa’s future at the upcoming open house:

At this event, you can learn about the process of preparing a new Official Plan and ask City staff your questions about the project. If you can’t attend in person, join us on Facebook for a livestream of the presentations at 12:30 and 5:30 p.m.

La Ville d’Ottawa invite les résidents au lancement du projet de nouveau Plan officiel. Ce document stratégique oriente la croissance de notre ville : il prévoit où et comment elle se développera, aujourd’hui et dans les années à venir.

Pour atteindre notre objectif à long terme, faire d’Ottawa la ville de taille moyenne où il fait le mieux vivre en Amérique du Nord, nous faisons appel à vous. Nous consulterons les résidents des quatre coins de la ville pour obtenir leurs commentaires sur les grands enjeux actuels.

Assistez à notre séance portes ouvertes pour savoir comment vous pouvez contribuer à façonner l’avenir d’Ottawa :

Vous aurez l’occasion de découvrir comment s’articule le processus pour préparer un nouveau Plan officiel, et vous pourrez poser vos questions au personnel de la Ville. Pour ceux qui ne peuvent se déplacer, la présentation sera diffusée en direct sur Facebook à 12 h 30 et 17 h 30.
