My name is Miki K.T. Chart, a new resident in the Champlain Park neighbourhood. I am a classically trained oil painter working out of my home studio.

During the month of February, I will be offering some artistic activities to share and enjoy the creative process at my home studio, Studio Oak Tree, 269 Island Park Drive.

Activities:

On Saturday February 9th, Byrne Carrie (2018 figureworks finalist) will present an artist talk about composition using old masters’ work as examples. All levels of artists are welcome to join this talk and try some exercises to learn/review composition. Free for art club members and $10 for non members.

I also offer Friday morning and Saturday afternoon non-instructional portrait drawing sessions at my studio with a $5 participation fee, plus a shared model fee (varies by number of attendants).
