We are excited to announce our next Kitchissippi Ward Forum will be coming up towards the end of the month!
As always, this is an opportunity to the community to come together to discuss key issues within the Ward, collaborate, and get updates from our various community stakeholders, as well as from our office.
This time, we will have another special guest speaker – Stephen Willis, the City of Ottawa’s new General Manager of Planning, Infrastructure and Economic development. So if planning concerns are important to you, this is a can’t miss forum!

The agenda, from an e-mail from Fiona Mitchell (Councillor’s Assistant):
We are very thrilled to announce our next Kitchissippi Ward Forum on November 27, hosted at Happy Goat Coffee (they serve beer!). This time around, we will have special guest speaker Steve Willis, General Manager of Planning, Infrastructure and Economic Development.
The agenda for the evening is as follows:
6:00-6:15: Jeff welcomes everyone, provides a few updates and notices.
6:15-6:45: We will hear brief updates from our various Community Associations, BIA’s + community partners (you!)
6:45-7:15: Steve Willis will speak, followed by a Q+A
7:15-7:45: General Q+A
7:45-8:00: Wrap up + one-on-one networking
I am reserving space for CAs + community partners to give a brief, 1-2 minute update. I will also again prepare a print out for more extensive updates, as we’ve done in the past (an example from the April forum is attached).
