Halloween Fun Run Wrap-up

A message from Peter Laughton (with minor edits for readability):

Thank-you to all the parents, volunteers, and runners who came out to run and raise money for the Hera Mission this morning. Parents donated their time acting as marshalls on the course, distributed candy medals, and gave out snacks to the runners aged 2-12 years. Through their efforts we raised $950 for important projects in Asembo Bay Kenya. Thanks as well to Carol Arnason and the Champlain Park Community Association for sponsorship and opening up the field house. Thanks to Bushtukah for the tent and prizes and thanks to Jordan from Shopper’s Drug Mart for juice and snacks. Lastly, thanks to the teachers and students of Elmdale school who helped promote the event and came out in record numbers.
