Other related items:
- A list of tips to deter graffiti is at https://onwec.com/2017/05/27/ottawa-police-graffiti-management-program/ and in more detail at https://www.ottawapolice.ca/en/safety-and-crime-prevention/Graffiti-Management-Program.asp Apparently there is a graffiti repellent of some sort.
- There is an e-mail scam going around saying things like “After the final 2017 annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax return of 403.27 CAD.” with links in the e-mail asking you for credit card details so a refund can be sent to you. Of course, the money actually flows from your credit card to the scammers. The Ottawa police has a list of common scam types, see https://www.ottawapolice.ca/en/about-us/Common-Scams.asp#Tax
