Fantastic X-Ski, snowshoe trail open along Parkway!

The trail is in excellent condition, suggest you give it a try if you haven’t already done so.

 

 

2016-02-28 xski trail parkway 2The “Sir John A. Macdonald Winter Trail” runs from the Canadian War Museum to Westboro Beach.  You can access the trail at the Champlain Park – Carleton Avenue entrance to the NCC Forest.

  1. I have gone skiing 3 times since the trail opened and plan to keep going until the snow all melts! I’ve chatted with a lot of people along the trail, and everyone is really excited and wants it to continue. The trail is along one of the most beautiful shorelines in the City,. Dave of Nakkertok with the help of Westboro Beach CA has done a wonderful job initiating this project.
