2014 OTTAWA MUNICIPAL ELECTION COVERAGE ON CBC
Reporters stationed throughout Ottawa to provide immediate ward-by-ward results
October 15, 2014 – CBC Ottawa has announced their programming schedule for the municipal election in Ottawa on October 27.
Coverage begins immediately after polls close with a special hour of programming from 8 to 9 p.m. ET on television, radio and online. Reporters will be stationed throughout the city providing live updates from some of the most hotly contested wards in Ottawa with analysis from political insiders including Caroline Andrew, Professor of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa and outgoing city councillors Maria McRae and Peter Hume. Television and radio coverage will be available via live-stream at http://www.cbc.ca/ottawa along with immediate election results as they are announced.

Hosted by CBC News Ottawa anchor Lucy van Oldenbarneveld, with co-anchor Adrian Harewood reporting live on the Mayoral race
