2015 CIVIC EVENTS FUNDING PROGRAM
APPLICATION DEADLINE: FIRST MONDAY IN NOVEMBER 2014

Local not-for-profit organizations such as volunteer-based community or recreation associations are invited to apply for funding to provide one to two-day civic events with free admission that foster civic pride and develop community cohesion. These events are linked to and celebrate a civic/statutory holiday in Ontario (i.e. New Year’s Day, Family Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Ontario Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day), are held in a specific geographic district in Ottawa, and encompass a broad range of activities and family entertainment.

Maximum Allocation: $3,000

Application Deadline: First Monday in November 2014

2015 Civic Events Funding Applications will be available online and in hard copy as of September 1st, 2014

PROGRAMME DE FINANCEMENT D’ÉVÈNEMENTS CIVIQUES 2015
Date limite d’inscription: PREMIER LUNDI DE NOVEMBRE 2014

Les organismes à but non lucratif de la région, comme les associations récréatives ou communautaires composées de bénévoles, sont invités à présenter une demande d’allocation afin d’offrir gratuitement des événements civiques d’un ou deux jours dont l’entrée est gratuite et qui favorisent la fierté civique et renforcent la cohésion communautaire. Ces événements, qui se tiennent dans un secteur géographique d’Ottawa précis et sont liés à un congé civique ou férié qu’ils célèbrent (p. ex. jour de l’An, jour de la Famille, fête de Victoria, fête du Canada, congé municipal en Ontario, fête du Travail, Action de grâces) englobent un large éventail d’activités et de divertissements pour la famille.

Montant maximal de l’allocation : 3 000 $

Date limite des demandes : Le premier lundi de novembre 2014

Le formulaire de demande de subvention pour événements civiques de 2015 sera accessible le 1 septembre 2014
